Porcelain Crowns

When a tooth is cracked, decayed, or damaged, a dental crown may need to be fitted onto the tooth. A dental crown is a permanent covering that fits over the original tooth. Our Crowns are made of pure porcelain. We no longer need to fuse porcelain to metals such as gold or silver since we no longer need to send your teeth to outside labs which often still create crowns using outdated methods. Eliminating the use of metals also give your crown a more realistic appearance as there is no metal to darken the appearance of the tooth. You can now have a new crown that not only whitens your smile, but also reshapes and realigns existing teeth, adding to a healthy and vibrant smile!

High quality porcelain crowns typically have the most realistic appearance, and now with the latest in innovative cosmetic enhancements, we are able to utilize a staining and glazing technique which enables us to perfectly match your crowns to your existing natural teeth! This enhanced procedure is done in our lab in about 15 minutes while you wait and is simply a gorgeous result!

Because of the compatibility of the porcelain materials to the natural enamel of your tooth as well as the conservative process used in prepping your tooth, we are able to add strength back to the tooth! By using the CEREC method, we are able to prep your tooth for the final porcelain crown without taking off so much of the essential healthy tooth structure! Keeping more of your healthy tooth structure means your tooth (and new crown or veneer) should last almost twice as long as the antiquated traditional crown experience would have provided you. Using the CEREC method of prepping and creating your new crown means saving you from unnecessary root canals and fractured crowns. This is paramount to your and our dental success!
